Who This Team Is For
The Elite Performance Team is designed for dedicated dancers seeking a more focused and intentional training experience. This program is ideal for dancers who are passionate about growth, committed to their training, and eager to strengthen their technique, artistry, performance quality, and confidence in a supportive and disciplined environment.
Training Expectations
Elite dancers are expected to come to class prepared, focused, respectful, and ready to grow. Consistent attendance, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and openness to correction are essential parts of the program. Elite team members are expected to maintain good attendance throughout the season.
Class Requirements

Ballet: 1.5 hours per week

Technique: 1.5 hours per week

Strength & Stretch: Required weekly

Jazz: Required weekly

Contemporary: Required weekly

Production: Required and included in the weekly team schedule

Optional Classes: Hip Hop, Tap, and Acro

Dancers may receive up to 9 hours of weekly instruction

Placement and instructor approval may be required for certain classes and levels
Time Commitment
The Elite Performance Team requires a higher level of commitment than recreational classes. Team members are expected to prioritize attendance for all required classes, rehearsals, designated competitions, conventions, performances, and studio events throughout the season. Some competitions and conventions may be optional and will be clearly identified in advance. Consistency and commitment are essential to both individual and team growth.
Season Schedule
The Ignite Elite Performance Team season runs from September through June. Dancers are expected to remain committed for the full season and attend all required classes, rehearsals, performances, team events, and designated competitions and conventions. Some competitions and conventions may be optional and will be clearly identified in advance. Summer training may also be recommended or required to support each dancer’s growth and preparation for the upcoming season.
How to Join
Placement on the Elite Performance Team is by instructor evaluation and invitation only. Dancers are considered based on technique, performance quality, work ethic, attitude, commitment, and overall readiness for the program. Additional information regarding placements will be released prior to each season.
